Hailing from the Abruzzo region of Italy, this Ventricina is produced by combining a mixture of ground Pork with a variety of spices including garlic, salt, white & black pepper, hot bell peppers & paste, orange peel, rosemary & fennel seeds.
The salami is left to naturally slow cure for 3 months. This nitrate free process has been perfectly mastered and executed by De Palma resulting in an exceptional product.
Rolled in a traditional Abruzzian sweet peppercorn paste, Ventricina Salame has the appearance of a stained glass window. It's musky & spicy aroma which underlays the sweetness of Pork. Vetricina releases a punch of saltiness with a clean finish.
This Salami is perfect for antipasto platters, or even consumed on it's own with some crusty bread.
In order to maximise the flavour & aroma of any cured product, we suggest you serve the product at room temperature, or about 21ºC.
